Projects
Mikecraft
2014
My first large project that launched my interest and engagement with programming, particularly game development. Programmed in Java, Mikecraft used the LWJGL 2.0 library, similar to Minecraft, in order to generate a lightweight, but featured, 2d platformer game. Using recycled assets and some custom sprites from our 2013 and 2014 robots, this game was a huge impetus for my interest in programming and software development.

Ultimate Pong
2015
My second attempt at building an LWJGL-based game this time based on Atari's popular game, Pong. This game allows players more control over movement, as well as facilitating multiplayer connections and 1v1 play, or player vs. bot.

OpenF1
2024
OpenF1 was born from a lifelong passion for Formula 1 and the excitement of following incredible drivers like Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris as they battle for every point, podium, and victory. Every race weekend brings new stories, strategy, and unforgettable moments—and that passion inspired me to build an API that makes F1 data more accessible for fellow fans, developers, and creators.
Today, OpenF1 is a powerful Formula 1 API designed to make race data easy to explore and build with. But this is only the beginning. The long-term vision is to evolve OpenF1 into a fantasy racing platform, giving fans new ways to compete, analyze, and engage with the sport they love. Ultimately, it became the foundation of the d256.club league racing platform, creating a home where racing enthusiasts can connect, compete, and celebrate every lap together.

Danealue Racing
2024
Danealue Gaming has been an aspiration since I started making servers for Minecraft to host lan parties as a kid. Since then, my expeirence has only broadened my horizons and the services that I'm able to offer through my servers.
If you're interested in learning more about Danealue Gaming, then check out my website there for up-to-date information about what games we provide servers for. At the moment, my focus is mainly racing simulators, but I also enjoy survival and building games like Satisfactory and Palworld.

Bible Follow Along
2026
To accompany reading the bible and building a practice of daily devotional, I built a Cloudflare Workers hosted Google Sheets based application that pull data from a the Sheets API and load scripture from an external API (built around the NLT, learn more here).
Cloudflare Workers BlogX
2026
Every few years I like to try and rebuild my personal site using new technologies. I find it a great way to learn new frameworks and to expand my site's feature base. By rebuilding from the ground up, I can convert content into more usable formats and better scale for future improvements. This year, in keeping in line with my interests in Cloudflare Workers, I've decided to rebuild my site to work on the Cloudflare Workers format, server markdown documents from a local asset cache and rendering images from their R2 object storage.
This rebuild is what you're likely currently reading this on, and is still heavily in development, so stay tuned for more updates!
